Thanks to the use of special additives during the spinning process, they give fabrics a particular opaque and natural look (widely described as “cotton- look”), typical of cotton yarns.

They have the appearance and the feel of cotton, but retain the long lasting, dyeing versatility and easy care properties of traditional polyester yarns.

Textile products made with MATKO’ can achieve noticeably superior levels of UV protection if compared to fabrics made with cotton, polyester and other fibres, while absorbing 30 times less water and being less transparent, even when made in white or pastel shades.
